California Hospital looking for an experienced RN for L&D Scheduled 48 hours/guaranteed 36
PM Shift 18:45-7:15, weekends as needed.
Must be float to PP
Exceptional bedside manner a must 180 births per month average

Level II Cuplet Care
Very fast paced with high level of care
5 years L&D exp, or 2-3 years experience in a large facility needed
BLS, ACLS, NRP, Adv. Fetal Heart Monitoring
Under the general direction of the Unit Director and Charge Nurse, independently provides holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for patients routinely seen on the unit. Demonstrates an advanced level of clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to improving the quality of patient care. Independently performs general and unit-specific clinical skills. Contributes to the Hospital's Department of Patient Care Services and the nursing profession in a positive manner.
Is responsible for the assessment, treatment or care appropriate to the ages of the patients served, i.e. Neo-Nate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.
