I actually worked for Banner Home Care. But nurses in the hospital at most Banner facilities were pretty happy of what I heard. Good Samaritan is downtown area, so not the greatest area. There are facilities in Sun City West that are not bad, and on the East side of town Baywood is their heart hospital. Desert Samaritan is Banner, and that one is in Tempe I have to say that patients really liked that facility and me as well with ER experience. Kim
I am in a Banner facility right now but I am in Page, AZ. Banner just opened up a pretty sweet looking ICU up here a couple of weeks ago. All state of the art. Oh ya the rehab side isn't too bad either. Just be aware that the color brown is rehab. Brown scrubs or a brown polo and khaki pants for Banners entire rehab department. Yep brown! :)
I worked for Banner also, when they bought out our smaller hospitals, we went from a name to a #, it is a horrible company to work for they are constantly trying to hire internal travelers, and are not afraid to kkick you out the door when they find someone to fill a spot, even if that person is less qualified....just sayin.
