I have taken many assignments with HGI Healthcare. I've worked with them for 3.5 years as an OTR and have never considered another company. I feel very "taken care of". Everyone from my recruiter to payroll to quality assurance to housing is prompt in responses and have all gone above and beyond time and time again for my needs. I have never been without an assignment in the area I wanted. The traveling world is a very small one. I am friends with dozens of travelers I've met around the country and most of them switch from company to company to chase an extra dime. If you're a traveler, you know that there are situations we are put in at times that are less than desireable. I remain loyal to HGI because they back me and my ethics with their ethics without question always advocating for the right thing, not the right price. I can't recommend them enough. Please feel free to email me personally if you have further questions about them (AmberNCarpenter@gmail.com).
I have had multiple conversations with Debbie at HGI. Another recruiter who doesn't listen all that well.
She had me all lined up for an assignment (even though I had not signed anything), & I was lucky enough to be in the area, so I checked it out. It was a total dump in a very scary neighborhood. She tried to talk me into it after I declined.
Then again the next time around, she tried to steer me to a company I did not want to work for. She argued with me this time, threatening me to take the job or she would stop marketing me. I told her good luck with that & sent her on her way. She called me back 10 minutes later & apologized over & over again.
I will not work for them if I have to go thru her.
Good luck!!
