I have to take a BKAT on Thursday for my close to home position that I took. I looked it up online and saw that I can get a copy of it but it will take weeks to get it. Has anyone ever taken it? I just don't want to fail. I feel better about tests that I am prepared for the content. Thanks.
It's pretty much like your state boards that are more forcused on your area of specialty. As with any test, take your time and read the question fully, because there may be two correct answers, but one is more correct. Most places that I have seen it don't use it for "if you don't pass your contract is cancelled." But, I would check just to make for sure.
I took it this morning (along with a bizzillion other tests) and I did fine. I think it is just more the thought of taking the test than the actual taking of the test.
