Travelers Conference in Las Vegas

I just booked my flight to the Traveler's Conference in Las Vegas for September 26th and 27th.  I went last year and it was a lot of fun!  Looking forward to seeing some new faces this year!

I am also interested in the conference. Do you know if the hotel is offering any kind of special rate for people attending the conference?

We do not have rooms blocked at a discounted rate at the MGM Grand (the hotel that the conference will be held) because in the past, the "discount rate" that the hotel gives us usually ends up being higher than what most travelers can get through deals on the internet etc.  With that said, there are several less expensive hotel options within close walking distance to the MGM Grand.  A few of these options include:

The Tropicana:  http://www.troplv.com/  (rooms around $69.00/night and next door to conference)
The Flamingo: http://www.flamingolasvegas.com/  (rooms around $55.00/night)
Bill"s Gamblin Hall: https://www.billslasvegas.com/ (rooms around $45.00/night -surprisingly nice hotel)
