First of all, your personal information will NEVER be shared or sold to anyone. We respect our members' privacy. Secondly, the more members that complete their profiles and keep them current, the more the rest of the community benefits. For example, I am at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga right now. It's one of the best hospitals I have ever seen. Nursing and therapy seem to have great morale and are not stressed and overworked. Patient care is great.
Putting this new assignment information on my profile will allow members to search for and find any other members with "Memorial" or "Chattanooga" in their profile. So....they can ask another traveler about the place BEFORE they sign a contract there. That's one of the main purposes of this community. The more information we all share, the more the rest of us can benefit.
Finally, it's important to upload a profile pic. Having an profile pic helps people identify with you. Otherwise, it's like you are walking into a party with a paper bag on your head! (Or a Healthcare Travelbook Logo on your head!) Even if you are a very private person and you don't want your personal photo on the site, upload SOMETHING! A tree, a dog, a sunset, a coffee cup...anything will do!
